Android - Build works, but nothing changes when played.
So I built my first .apk for this game, installed it to a dev phone, and tested it. No problems here.
Then, I made changes to the scenes, objects in those scenes, prefabs, other resources, and code. I built a new .apk, uninstalled the old one, transferred it over, installed it, and test... It is EXACTLY the same as the first build. NOTHING has changed.
These are the steps I have taken: Uninstalled app from the phone. Removed the .apk from build output directory. Removed all the scenes from the build manager and re-added them. Cleaned the solution. Rebuilt the solution. Built a windows .exe. Tested the .exe. Everything looks good here. Build a new .apk. Copied the new .apk over and reinstalled it. Tested the new .apk. WTF!? Still runs the OLD build that is COMPLETLY different from what it should look/act like. Opened the app in the phone settings, cleared cache and data, then uninstalled it. Tried everything again, thoroughly cleaning and verifying file meta data to make sure this is infact the new .apk I am installing and no-dice. Still playing the old version of the game.
I have confirmed that Unity is in fact creating new .apks when I build. Timestamps and filesizes are different, but when I play it on the phone, it's not playing the new version.
I don't even know where Unity could possibly be pulling resources for this build since many things have been removed/replaced, but somehow the .apk build stays unchanged (except the time & file size keeps going up).
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm sure I'm just missing something inconsequential that is easy to overlook.
