Lighting question - how to make it dark in the distance
I have a scene that is dark, using neon-like lighting, but I would like to still be able to see the characters. My lighting is baked to keep things 'cheap' for VR, is there a trick to light characters (non-static), or areas, that won't break in VR on slower rigs?
I know that this might not look entirely natural but It's more important at the moment to keep the neon and the characters both visible.
As with the lab below, the play area is nicely lighted, but the surrounding background is dark. There don't seem to be spotlights in the area though.
