Trail Renderer problem at tail end
I'm having a rendering issue that effects how the material appears at the tail end of a trail renderer. The texture seems to fill out the entire polygon as if there's a UV issue at the tail end. This seems to happen when the camera is far away. the further the camera gets, the closer to the front of the trail renderer the problem gets:

I've tried a number of shaders, and they all have the same problem. I can't seem to find a quality setting or lod setting that will fix this problem. I'm completely stumped on this one.
