Every studio works differently, and there is no "best" workflow. To find out whether they will send you a finished project or a draft, why not ask them...?
Dedicated audio person workflow
Hi guys,
I'm about to sign a contract with a game development company (game apps for Android and iOS), and I have a big question about the workflow.
I know the audio tools inside Unity, and also other middleware like Wwise, but I think that for this specific case we'll work only in Unity3D.
My question is the following: Which is the best workflow to work as an audio dedicated person? I don't know exactly how to proceed with the audio integration part (will they give me the entire project once finished? or a draft? or... what should I ask?)
I don't know if you guys have experienced something similar, but in this case any help will be really appreciated.
Thanks!!
PS. Until now, I only found this post: http://answers.unity3d.com/questions/161635/preferred-audio-workflow.html
Unity Answers is mainly for specific technical Qs -- "the manual says X, but in this small example Y is happening." Somewhat like the stackOverflow sites for specific languages. We're trying to make sure those stay on the front page as long as possible, since there's no where else to ask them.
The Unity Forums are more for opinion Qs. There's also a HelpRoom section of UA. It's mostly "fix my script" stuff, but just about nothing is off-topic there.
