How to make Child hanging above rotating parent
This is possibly a simple one, but I think Quaternions broke my brain, because I can't get it to work. The Case; I have a gameobject; say, a nice round stone with a child canvas haning above saying "A stone".
The player gets around, as player tends to do, kicks it. What happens? My canvas tries to turns it text towards the player while the stone spins away ... and the canvas promptly is rotated down into the ground.
This should be solvable but as the stone spins in three dimensions I can't get the code to work, it feels like I have tried all permutations of applying Quaternions to it but the best that happens is nothing, usually it just get bizarre or produces errors.
So, can someone give me a pointer or a hint?
