Forcing VR Camera Rotation
Hello,
I'm using HTC Vive Pro and in my project I have a room where the player must always face virtually in the same direction at the beginning of the experience. He is seated in the real and in the virtual world.
The thing is that if the chair in the real world is rotated, I still need the player to face the "default" direction in the virtual world. So, what I need is the HMD to ignore the tracked rotation and to follow the one that is set in the virtual world. Maybe what I need is to "recenter" the camera position and rotation, but facing the direction I want.
I've tried putting a empty GameObject in the world facing where I want the camera to look and, by script set the camera rotation to the same rotation of that GameObject, but is not working. The hierarchy of my camera can be found in the picture I attach.
Hope someone can help me. Thank you in advance!
P.S. Sorry for the format, I cannot make it to have more than one space between lines...
