Is true async scene loading possible?
Hi there people. I got a rather technical and low level question.
When using LoadSceneAsync and a progress bar along with .allowSceneActivation control, the process is something like this for huge scenes:
Loading starts and goes for about 10%
Freeze, length depends on how big is the scene
Sudden 90%
Another freeze
New scene loads
So as you can guess, this is really weird when it comes to loading a new scene especially if you want to add animations, videos or anything like that to smoothen out the process. Hence the title. Is this possible?
A great example would be Destiny 2's loading screens.
