Unable to install on OSX: Failed to write license file

Clicking through the "License management" dialog gives me this: Failed to write "/Library/Application Support/Unity/Unity_v5.x.ulf". Please verify you have write permissions to this file.

The launcher stops responding after that.

I'm running OSX 10.10.3 and am an admin. The Unity folder it's referring to in Application Support does not exist. Creating the folder myself does nothing.

I've gone the manual installation route, and that seems to return the same error.
