Animating in Editor: How to scrub multiple animations at the same time?
Here is my problem, I have an animated 2d sprite character with a part of it's body that is controlled by a script (a jumping character with a script powered rotating arm to aim at the player). In 3d, with a skeleton, I could simple attach things to a joint transform. But since this is a sprite and the jump is baked into the animation, so there is no transform to attach to. I want to hand animate a transform to "track" the sprite jump, pixel by pixel. I can scrub the timeline for the character to see the animation at each frame, but when I deselect the sprite, the animation snaps back to frame 0, so I can't reference the frame while hand animating the other "tracked" transform. How can I have two animations scrubbing at the same time in the editor? Thanks!
