How would I set GitHub's Atom as Unity's default script editor?
Given that GitHub's atom is launched via
Update.exe --processStart "atom.exe"
in the C:\Users\..\AppData\Local\atom\
directory, is it possible to set it as the default script editor for Unity? Currently, I can only get it to launch Atom, but can't seem to pass in the file to open.
TIA

Seems to work just fine for me. Don't use Update.exe use atom.exe in this folder: C:\Users...\AppData\Local\atom\app-1.13.0-beta2\atom.exe
I can't get it to run with Update.exe
Thanks, didn't think to check in the app folder, was blindly following the start menu shortcut.
No problem. I've never used Atom before, so I thought this would be a good chance to check it out. I'm sure I'll stick to VS, but out of curiosity, what is the advantage of using Atom over VS in your opinion?
I just wanted to play with something other than VS for a bit. If you want to use it for C# it's suggested you add the omnisharp-atom plugin. Just the general ease to modify the editor means I thought I'd give it run and see how it goes.
