Does an audio source with zero volume take an audio channel?
I'm trying to optimise and reduce the number of sounds being played - especially for devices/computers with limited channels.
One of the common scenario is to have objects with 2d sound sources on a loop. These are managed by various events reducing the volume to 0 when they need to be muted.
During this time is the sound card still use a dedicated channel for the audio source?
