Which is more efficient - Raycasts or Physics?
I'm making a gun system that fires BBs, but my question is, what's more efficient, physics, or raycast? With raycast I'd need to make multiple calculations for BB drop and bouncing.

if your projectiles are slow use physics, if they're instant use raycasts. If you have something in between, if straight, you probably need to raycast towards every next position of the projectile, etc.
fast and curved is probably the most ugly one, but it depends on speed and size really.

Well, it's supposed to be an airsoft game, so the projectiles are 0.06 size spheres. They would be around 400 feet per second. Would I still use physics?
