How do I add a custom icon to an android game?
I have done everything I could possibly do. I put the right size icons in the Edit -> Project Settings -> Player under the Icons tab, I fished out the AndroidManifest files and made sure the android:icon fields were set to the right app_icon file in the res/mipmap folders. The icon shows when I install it on my test android phone(Samsung Galaxy S5 so I thought it was all good to go). I published the app and I waited for the first reviews and 3 of my friends downloaded the app and sent me screenshots to show me that they had it but my custom icon was not loaded on their phones. It was the default unity icons but of course they didn't know that. So I unpublished the app and kept testing and making changes with answers I found online then I send the apk file to one of my buddies to download and install on his Galaxy s6 but the Unity icon still persists. I don't know what to do right now. I'm frustrated. Can anybody help me at all? Please.
