Can't build to iOS, but web and OS X builds fine
I'm having an issue building to iOS and Android. I can build to web, Chrome native, and OS X native just fine. Anytime I try to switch platform to iOS or Android, I am immediately welcomed by the bug reporter, which causes unity to lock up.
I am a beginner to Unity, and I'm not sure where to start my search. Here is what I found in editor.log:
Platform assembly: /Applications/Unity/Unity.app/Contents/Frameworks/Mono/lib/mono/2.0/System.Xml.Linq.dll (this message is harmless)

nothing here jumps out to me, but like I said, I am new to this. Any suggestions of where to start? I've tried removing all the assets I'm not using, but that hasn't helped. I don't have any warnings in the compiler. My game is very simple and consists only of menus built in NGUI. I've tried building on different machines to no avail.
Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

What Unity version you are using and on what operating system? To be able to build for IOS you have to have Unity IOS, IOS pro (now available free version) , same applies for android.
It seems you don't have those licenses..
Got to Help > About Unity and check the license you have. You need to build your project on a Mac to build for IOS.
Thanks for your response.
I'm running 4.1.2f1 on $$anonymous$$ountain Lion 10.8.3 on a $$anonymous$$ac Pro. I've checked for updates on both and was told I'm up to date. I've also tried it on a $$anonymous$$acBook Air unsuccessfully.
I realized that Unity3D went free to publish on iOS and decided to try it out. Since I could click on iOS in the build window and adjust the player settings for iOS, I figured that meant I had the sufficient license. Is there any other procedure I need to follow?
Well if your licence does include android/ios then you can, or else you have to either have the new free, or buy the android/ios pro..WW
Just make sure to set the answer as true if you feel that it has answered your question correctly.
Thanks.
It looks like my issue was that I was trying to build to iPad and iPhone when I only had the iPhone license. I will read the licenses closer. I assumed the free licenses covered iPhone and iPad, but now I'm not sure.
THanks again
