Halting Controller control in UI panel.
Okay, so my goal here is to eventually get a ui scroll panel to work with the d pad (up/down/left/right) portion of my xb1 controller, and the arrow keys (again... up/down/left/right).
However... before I can figure out how to do that, I'm running into a major issue of my joystick and wasd keys (any in-game movement) also controlling my scroll panel. This is extremely frustrating.
On top of that, the text that is already in it has to be scrolled to be found. It doesn't display without being scrolled down to. This is equally frustrating.
I don't know how to present this question in google, and everything I'm finding here, and there, is about adding controller support to ui, not stopping it. Can someone point me to the right direction here?

I'm a moron. I figured it out immediately after asking the question. So, when you add a scroll rect to a panel... Make sure to put the panel in the viewport. -___-
