Unity not working in Opera
I recently switched to the Opera browser (version 36.0), and installed the latest version of Unity Webplayer available (5.3.4f1). When I try to load a game on Kongregate.com that was built with Unity, it just gives me a white screen with the Unity logo in the middle and a thin line underneath. This happens for all Unity games I have tried. I have tried refreshing the page, letting it sit for a while, etc. but it never loads. Any help would be appreciated!

Opera no longer supports the plugin. Try using IE11 or Firefox.

I just switched from Firefox because it was running terribly slow for me (I did try to get it working correctly again, reinstalled, etc...no luck). Every time I would load a page that used any plugin (Unity, Flash, etc.), the plugin-container process would shoot from about 40MB up to over 1GB of RAM used.
Anyway, will Opera support the Unity Webplayer plugin in the future? Or...is there a way to force it to run?
Opera will not since it is based on Chromium and plugin support has been removed from it.
@yoi55 I DARE YOU TO upgrade to 52.0b4, and then come tell me about how great Firefox and Unity work together..

For the record, I do not use Firefox normally, so I have no fan-boy attachment to it. I simply stated that in Firefox version 51.0.1 Unity DOES work. I have no need, nor want, to install a beta version. I am saying that the latest stable version (as of today) and Unity do work together without issue. Your issue COULD also be that you are using a beta version that has an incompatibility Unity. Just a thought.
I have no idea how I got the beta version, I personally like Comodo IceDragon over Firefox. I use FF for one purpose, and that is to play Contract Wars, as it is the only Browser that seems to have the least amount of problems.
I am an IT specialist by trade, and an old school programmer, very first thing I do with my browsers is turn off auto update.. Now Either it is BS by $$anonymous$$S 10 that turns them on for me, (which would not surprise me), or I just forgot, the last time I re-installed windows.
All I know, is that I had to scrub my system, and go back to version 36 to get it to work again.

FIREFOX no longer supports UNITY or any NPAPI
My machine upgraded to 52.0b4 (even though I had thought I had turned auto updating off)

Unity not installed on Firefox http://image.prntscr.com/image/1eb24dcc6ba34f79a965beb01d8bfe84.png
Comodo Icedragon (Firefox engine) Unity works just fine http://image.prntscr.com/image/8ca44e1ce1584aa1bdc07a8893da3f99.png
This is not true. I just tried again today using Firefox 51.0.1, and Unity loaded just fine.
