How to make different sides of a shape act differently in 2d

I'm playing around with a mechanic idea for a game (2D platformer) whereby you are a triangle, you can jump and rotate, and one of the triangles sides is slippy, and one is sticky, so if you were to jump against a wall and the sticky side connected, you would stick to the wall, and if you were approaching a slope and landed on the slippy side you would slide right down, any ideas as to how to approach this?
