special advance gun attack

hi guys

I am trying to make a fps but want to make my bullets and projectile look special and cool. can someone give me some refer me to some hd scifi effects such as we see in most pc games.Also i was wondering should these effects be done on unity using particle system or elsewhere.

Design your bullet, and you can create flame effects for example by dragging in the small flame prefab, press control 5, and look for it, and you can edit the flame's colors, so if you want it to have flame effects try that. This can apply with other things too, and you can even make the bullet out of water.

You can also use other particle emitters to make it leave a trail of waves or swirvy lines that would add a $$anonymous$$atrix type effect to it.

For cool you will need (money to buy models or time to make the models):

A)Cool scripts, so it feels good: DastardlyBanana (free, includes low poly models and sound)

B)Cool soundFX, so it sounds good: prosoundfx, screamingbee warpack filmsound, aisoundfx, gamedev reference, freesound, videocoplit designer pack

C)Cool visualfx, so it looks good: VideoCopilot for bullet holes etc, for models google: weapon 3d models etc
