Background Scrolling in Space Shooter tutorial

I am trying to implement the background scrolling feature in the space shooter tutorial game as given in the Unity using Mathf.Repeat function.

However I am receiving a black portion between the backgrounds when it is scrolling in the game.

Please help me with this issue.
