Render/Export video at runtime
Hi
I am having some plans for some kind of animation program and of course, I would like to export a video from it. Almost every answer I've seen is something like "use fraps" or "use obs" etc and that is not what I want. I want the user to be able to export a video from the game and it then saves to the hard drive.
So to be clear, the only part I am looking for is something that will record the game and output it at a good FPS and screen ratio. The animation playing and all that I'll take care of myself.
Since I don't have the slightest clue about video coding or whatever it is called, is these some asset that could work for my case? I have had a look on uRecord but the reviews for it seem negative and, according to the reviews, it doesn't work most of the time. So any comment on that would be greatly appreciated!
Anything that could help me in this is greatly appreciated! Except if your answer is something along the lines of "use 'insert external recording program here'".
Hi. I didn't find a solution at the time but I did eventually find this free asset: https://www.assetstore.unity3d.com/en/#!/content/75653 I haven't fully played around with it but it seems pretty promising if you would like to put down the time to fully learn it.
Hi, thanks for suggestion but that plugin gave me some trouble while using (and it has a watermark logo). So i ended up using these two free plugins: Frame Capturer and FFmpegOut
