Communicating between two android apps via USB OTG (no wireless or internet)
Hi, I've been tasked to develop a game that allows to control game parameters on one android device (on which the game client runs) with another android device.
However those devices are not allowed to communicate wirelessly, because it's bound to be used in an environment where no wifi or bluetooth is permitted, only USB OTG
Is there a way to use the networking API in this configuration, and if not what other solutions could there be?
One of my technicians suggested that the two applications exchange information by reading/writing in a file accessible by both devices. Sounds feasible but I want to explore other means if there are any.
