Is it possible to do Vuforia AR (pattern-based recognition) on top of Mapbox AR (location-based spawns)?

Okay so i've already got working an app of location-based spawning of my 3d unity objects (think Pokemon go) HOWEVER now i need a way to "capture" and "inventory" the objects that i see through my lens and take a picture of! So, to put it in pokemongo speak, instead of a pokeball, i just want to take a picture of the vehicle part that spawns. THEN from there i want to be able to keep track of which spawns i've "caught" or "captured" using some sort of inventory (which would be implemented and viewed on a different scene than the scene where the picture of the object is taken) . . . .; ; ; ;

I have been brainstorming for some time now and all i can think of is this OTHER augemnted reality project I did with Vuforia : It recognized the 8x11 sheets of papers and replaced them with an 8x11 sheet of paper of my choosing. THE POINT IS it recognized a shape pattern using the vuforia database thingy. Can I use vuforia on top of Mapbox
