Making a mini copy of the objects around the player?
I was hoping to build some sort of 3d Radar. I have some ideas but no concrete way on how to actually accomplish it.
I wanted to do something of the sort, make a trigger sphere collider, and make a copy of whatever fell inside it, on a smaller scale, and keeping track of their position in relation to the player.
Like this: So, the red line, is the range of the radar (the trigger). The black box, the mini-world where the copy of the objects would appear.
such that If there is a cube in front of the object, make a small cube in front of him (If the player turns, make the object change position as the original one does)
Any Ideas?
