Parallax moving objects X parallax with cameras
Hello everyone. As the title is saying, I'm here to ask your opinion/knowledge about parallaxing. I would like to know which way has the best performance between:
1- multiple cameras to parallax;
2- objects following camera movement with a smaller speed.
I'm creating a metroidvania(2D exploration game) and I have huge scenarios and lots of objects on each scene, so I started by trying the multiple cameras idea, but I'm not sure if it's the best way of doing it.
well, I hope you got the answer yourself by this time. Did you tried messing around with the camera z-axis so that it creates a nice zoom effect ?
