I'm having these pitch black areas in the game. Does anyone know what is causing this?

Yes. You should turn down the shadow intensity. This will stop it from being black. You could also rotate the light source so that it becomes a ‘12 o clock’ in your game (So that the light source is over) but this may make comprises on your game.
So in short, turn down the shadow intensity.
You can also turn up ambient light. Go to Edit->Render Settings and make Ambient Light a little bit lighter.
Never $$anonymous$$d, I solved the problem.I had to change the Clour Space to Linear in Edit->Project Settings->Player. And I just had to wait till it bakes.
