MonoBehaviour does not exist in the current context ?

Question

While working in unity I'm creating new scripts and for some reason, it isn't registering MonoBehaviour and when I hover over it I get the message "MonoBehaviour does not exist in the current context.

how do fix??

MonoBehaviour is the correct spelling.

We need more info, but check if you're using UnityEngine.
