I'm having trouble opening any sort of project
I think this is a windows related issue so just so you know I'm using windows 7. So I've recently updated to unity 2017.2.0f3 and I can startup unity just fine, but after selecting the project to open in my editor a window appears to show the loading process and the window is called "Unity package manager" and it keeps getting stuck at "resolving packages" and right after that it says that unity editor has stopped working and prompts me for a debug. After I click the debugger a new window pops up so that I can select my debug program which is visual studio 2015 and on the top it says an unhandled win32 exception occured in Unity.exe . I'm quite the beginner so I'm trying to list as many details as possible. Anyway, after I click yes to debug with visual studio, visual studio opens up and it instantly give me this message "Unhandled exception at 0x0000000000000000 in Unity.exe: 0xC0000005: Access violation executing location 0x0000000000000000." and prompts me to break or continue and the problem insists no matter what I do. If someone can help me with this that would greatly be appreciated.
