www faster than Resources.Load?
From what i've read HERE, www loads files much faster than Resources.Load. Is this true? i have to load .bytes images and would like to implement this method.
If so, Where should i place my images so that they are accessible to www on iphone? (from what i see, i can't access Resources files using www)
Currently, i'm using this method to load from the resources folder, but it takes too long on the ipad retina
Texture2D tex = new Texture2D (4096, 4096,TextureFormat.RGBA32,false);
tex.LoadImage((Resources.Load(path,typeof(TextAsset)) as TextAsset).bytes);
