Problems with Unity 5.1.1 VR Scene

Hey all,

I'm in the process of upgrading a 3d walk-through type scene that I originally created in Unity4 with a DK1. I am now experimenting with the new lighting and shading in Unity 5 and have a DK2.

I've verified my Rift is working correctly via the Demo scene (Oculus Utility), however when I attempt to view my scene in the editor or during a build I get a black screen. I'm receiving these errors that google/uAnswers hasn't helped much with:

depthSurface == NULL || rcolorZero->backBuffer == depthSurface->backBuffer

Failed setting triangles. Some indices are referencing out of bounds vertices. IndexCount: 8442, VertexCount: 38777 UnityEditor.UnityBuildPostprocessor:OnPostprocessScene()

When I view the scene in the editor it looks like this... alt text

I'm sorta at a loss. I'm thinking maybe this machine is having some trouble. In case I need to specify, those walls should not be shattering into a million pieces. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
