Weapon arsenal Inventory UI
Hello sorry for the bad english, I am making a FPS for mobile. I want to make it so that players can go onto a weapon selection scene to buy & equip weapons but they can only have one weapon equipped at the time. How do I do this?
Create an array of GameObjects, or for better accuracy, array of a custom Struct you make, which contains each weapon in your game, then a GameObject (or custom struct) variable for their current weapon, then some Images and Texts on a Canvas UI for visual, and a "Buy" button if you need it. This script would just be placed in the scene somewhere or on the player if your using DontDestroyOnLoad
while switching scenes. Then youd just need to make a second script to interact with the UI and the first script as you see fit.
