Spring not springy enough?
So I want to make a grappling hook with two modes. One is just a static swing with no change in the distance. That works fine with a hinge joint. I wanted the other one to be a springy hook that allows you to rocket forward towards the contact point. I've got the spring joint all set up but it just isn't strong enough. There's almost no difference between that and the hinge. I've got the distance as low as it will go, the dampener set to 0, and friction set to 1. Thank you for any help :)
Under further testing, I should correct what I said here. The spring does come back eventually, and at the kind of speeds I'm looking for, it just has to extend for ages to get that kind of return speed. Not helpful when you're trying not to fall into a pit of spikes. Thank again

Old post but thought I'd help, increase the "Frequency" on the spring joint, that should make it more springy. :)
