What precision do I have to use for shader parameters?
Hi, I am making a mobile game and for good performance, I want to use low precision for my shaders.
(I got tips from here: https://docs.unity3d.com/Manual/SL-ShaderPerformance.html)
However, I don't know how to deal with precision of parameters, because I usually change their values in script and those functions use float precision.
If I want to change vlaue of 'half myValue', I have to use 'SetFloat("myValue", 0.5f)'.
I think it will cost something to convert precision from float to half...
What precision do I have to use for parameters? Thank you in advance. :)
