Will i need to buy anything for upgrading unity 4

i have unity 3.5.2 and can build to iPad thats all i need to do currently will i be able to do that with unity 4 or does my license run out or something

i eventually want to build something to run on the app store thank you

Nothing costs you to download new version and try your current license.

Error: Serial is not valid for the requested version of Unity

i have the option for using the free version of unity, i will try this now

Seems like you need to buy new licence for v4. It makes sense since this is (to my knowledge) olny way they are making money. You wont be able to export to iOS with free version, however, you do have 30 days trial.
