Android GUI.DrawTexture not working

Hi guys, I'm trying to use the GUI.DrawTexture to place a small square texture in the middle of the screen, this is how i'm doing it:

GUI.DrawTexture (new Rect (0, 0, Screen.width, Screen.height), Texture, ScaleMode.ScaleToFit);

When i play the game on Unity it works perfectly, but when i build it to android the same draw dont work, actualy nothing happens. What can be the problem? Can someone help?
