toggle component - send isOn and value

Hey all, I am learning about toggles today:

I have multiple toggles that let me select any or all of them (not part of a toggle group).

Using the unity toggle component panel, in the On Value Changed section, I can have each send a different value to a function in a script that represents which toggle was checked.

But this value gets sent irrespective of whether or not the toggle gets turned on or off. In addition to knowing which toggle is checked, I also need to know if it was checked on or checked off.

Is this beyond what I can do in the unity editor toggle component, and I have to start attaching scripts to each toggle, or what?

Thanks of any ideas!
