how to repeat a texture in the object?
I am having problem to repeat a material in the object...
I watch a lot of videos about it, but everyone say the same think: to put the material with a texture in the object and next is to change the shader to unlit/texture and put in the tiling in something like 5 and it will make my material repeat in the object.
But it doesn't work to me, the texture only decreases to the left.
What i need do to repeat the texture?
The problem:
see that the object (the floor) is not correct, the texture only decreases to the left when i increase the tiling..
how i fix it?

In case it helps The sprite image has to be set to texture mode in inspector.
Open the image in inspector set the Texture type to Texture instead of sprite and in Wrap Mode set to REPEAT
This link has the solution http://answers.unity3d.com/questions/775619/texture-stretches-when-tiled-in-editor.html
Hope it helps :)
Thanks friend, I had the same problem when I imported objects from $$anonymous$$aya. With ur help I solved it.
In the latest Unity version, there is no "Texture" type available anymore in the inspector. Did they change the way to create tiled images?
It's the "Default" setting. Note that it won't work with UI>Image as this specifically requires a sprite.

As for Unity5.4.1 I think there is a bug in the engine. I've tried all sort of setups but the texture would still clamp instead of repeat. FINALLY, I got it working when I set it to repeat from the script at runtime:
mymaterial.mainTexture.wrapMode = TextureWrapMode.Repeat;
hope this helps some lost souls out there
