realtime illumination
I'm generating a dungeon out of prefabs => lightning has to be realtime. I also have a Directional light with baking set to realtime. But as you can see on this picture, it looks really bad.
I have two questions now:
Why doesn't it illuminate the room like a real light would do?
Has someone some tips on real time illumination?
If elements are not static and are instantiated (or moved) at runtime, forget about baking or the so-called "Realtime Global Illu$$anonymous$$ation".
Your only option is to use point and directional lights with shadows set to realtime.
As stated before,
You either did not bake the project (or let it finish baking), or you did not set illu$$anonymous$$ation to real time.
The best way I've found, is to set your lighting to realtime, turn off precomputed + baked lighting. Sure, this will eat up system resources, but then when you like it, reenable the precomputed, etc.
