Cant drag the Text object to Score Label in UI script

Hello guys, i'm following this book tutorial https://www.manning.com/books/unity-in-action and i can't drag the text object at the point, where you have to drop it in the Score Label box.

If i use the Prefab of the Text, it shows NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object UIController.Update () (at Assets/UIController.cs:12)
