transform.position not working on phone (Cardboard)
I'm making a game for cardboard that move the character when clicking the screen. When testing in the computer it works, when I click the screen it moves but when testing on a phone it stand still, the problem is not with the touch checking because It turn blue an object when receiving the touch but the transform don't work, here is the code:
public GameObject test;
void Update () {
if (moveBool && SelfInputModule.isHeldTouched() == 1) {
test.GetComponent<Renderer> ().material.color = Color.blue;
transform.position += transform.forward*Time.deltaTime*Speed;
}
}
The SelfInputModule.isHeldTouched() is a method that change between mouse click or touch screen, depending of the platform, it works I've tested the box turn blue! hence the line transform.position += transform.forward*Time.deltaTime*Speed;
don't work on the phone.
I'm using the cardboard prefabs;
Hey any luck on this? I'm having a similar issue. I've put simply transform.position += transform.forward + transform.position
but even though my player don't move (on the phone).
This seems so weird.
