VR/AR motion capture with iPhone 11
Hi everyone, I would like to ask a very specific question for which I didn't find any answer in the support pages: I would like to build immersive VR and AR environments with motion capture using Unity and an iPhone 11 pro max. What I would like to do more exactly is the following: place objects in a virtual space that can be approached using the iPhone's depth and motion sensors, and place the iPhone in a VR viewer which leaves the iPhone's camera open, so that it would be possible to both see the real environment and the virtual objects while using the viewer. It wouldn't be standard AR, but stereo imaging, VR-based, immersive AR with motion tracking, without the use of external sensors or cameras besides the iPhone itself. Is this possible? Is the iPhone 11 pro max adapted for this application? Many thanks for your help!
