Any object with any type of 2D collider can be stood on by something with a dynamic rigidbody2D (assuming collider is not set to trigger) but anything with a rigidbody2D will have gravity affected by them; typically your player character at a minimum will have a collider2D and a rigidbody2D and platforms will just have a collider2D.
