Help with Interface-free inventory
So, my friend and I are trying to make a game. Thing is, neither of us know a thing about programming (We are learning everything with tutorials) so it's becoming quite challenging in some parts. Now, we want to make an inventory system kind of like the phasmophobia one, without an interface, you just have X slots for items and as you scroll with the mouse wheel the one you are holding changes. I've been looking for tutorials to make this, but I haven't found any tutorial without an inventory menu/interface. Any help to code this is highly appreciated and I would also like to ask to the people that may respond to explain what each part of the code need does so I can learn in the way.
