Character not moving off one spot
I understand that the problem I'm having is something related to the root motion. I have followed through the unity tutorial on root motion and it brakes the whole scene. I'm trying to add root motion to a dog which I have imported (from the asset store), I have already given the dog a character controller with some animations to follow. Although he is doing the animations that I have set up he is doing this all on one position and never moves from the spot.
I have looped time and pose on all the animation clips and I don't have Foot IK selected. The dog is set up as generic and I'm unsure whether I need to change it to humanoid to solve this problem as it is working for my other characters.
