Is it possible to run a background service to split any screen writes into two screens?
Creating a twin camera display for any Unity created project is not a big deal. What I want to do is read all screen writes and then split to twin displays. This will enable any android to act like a vr app with out having to create a support pipe for each and every app that users request. The user would simply run this service, the screen splits to dual screen and then the user runs any app and sees twin images. Then the phone can be placed in a foam or cardboard holder.
Is there a reason you cant just use the built in multi-display feature?
It needs one app instance with each eye displayed to. I thought about the multi but cant run app twice. In this case the app is dji drone android. Runtime operation too critical. $$anonymous$$y reading found that multi screen is running two separate apps. I am thinking now of going straight to the google cardboard sdk. But this could still be the long way around.

I mean this. As far as I recall its all running as one executable.
Edit: Oh i see. You are trying to run on an android device and your computer?
One apk on android to left and right displays. And yes like a VR does.
