Child of a player not syncing position with network?
There is a player object that is syncing position with the server quite well but the child "attack" is not syncing with the other clients. I tried making the attack have its own networking animation component that is controlled by the player but still no good results. Also I tried another way by having the attack move with code alone but again it is not working properly. I would appreciate any help to answer these few questions.
- Is there a way to have a child of a player sync position either by code or use of the new networking scripts?
- Does anyone know a good place to look for solutions for the current networking system?
- At this point, would you still use the previous version of networking over the new networking given that there are more questions that have been given answers?
I have been trying to do research on this issue but I am having a hard time finding the answer since every time I look up "networking 5" I find old network scripts/solutions.
