Weapon pickup position
I've been working on a game for a couple weeks now and I've been able to solve many problems on my own, but this is just driving me insane.
I'm making a first person shooter, and I'm trying to make weapons pickup-able. I have a weapon holder with a weapon switching script on it that iterates it's children and equips a gun, that works fine. I've removed the guns from that object and I'm trying to add them through a script as children, and that works too. But the guns are not in place; They always start at some random position and I can't move them to where they should be. I've tried setting the transform.position and rotation in many ways, but it doesn't work. Just to be clear, I'm setting the gun's parent to be the weapon holder, and then I'm moving it.

Don't bother answering, I found it out. Instead of setting my guns to no parent an then adding them, I parented them to the camera so they're always there. When I add them they're in the same position. Thanks anyway
