Baking in unity 5, compression artifacts and distortion.
The first one is baked, the second is realtime. I can't figure out what's causing the distortion. I have all of my models set to static lightmap, each one is set to generate lightmap uv's, the light in the scene is set to baked and in the lighting panel I've turned off precomputed realtime lighting and left baked lighting on.
any advice?

When you bake you are baking to a texture which does not have infinite resolution. You can increase the number of texels per unit, but this comes with a performance cost. Personally, I like the look of the baked version you have (the model needs to be smooth-shaded to make it even better), but if you are going for the flat-shaded look, you may want to just disable baking altogether.
Let me know if this helps ;)
