Can't build to mac on Windows

So, I've been browsing for a while, but I haven't found a solution to this specific problem. I am unable to build to mac as seen here: alt text Yet, the "macOS Build Support" option is not available in the installer, leading me to believe it is installed. alt text Clueless as to why this is happening; suggestions are much appreciated. :)

You could please be more specific? When does the sound play? Does the console show something accompanying it? What das the Unity Editor log say?

It says 4 errors. What are these errors? They're usually logged earlier.

Well, you're on Windows. all three exclude each other, though there's just the single standalone entry.
you need a Mac if you want to build for it.

So, can you easily put the project on a mac to be exported there?

absolutely!

I develop everything on my Windows machine because it is 1000x more powerful than my crappy mac, but I have to port it to my mac to build the iOS version.

Easiest way, in my opinion, is to use source control. Then you just check out the project on the mac and build it. Unity takes care of the rest for you.

Unfortunately, due to Apple's restriction and limitation, iOS and $$anonymous$$ac games (or apps) can ONLY be built on a $$anonymous$$AC.

That's actually not true. Even back in Unity 2.6 you could build for $$anonymous$$ac on a windows machine. Note that $$anonymous$$ac is not iOS. Yes to build for iOS you usually need a $$anonymous$$ac since you need xcode to build to iOS. Though even for that there are solutions.

Anyways you can build for any of the 3 standalone platforms from any of the 3 developer platforms. Actually the Linux editor is a quite late feature. Linux build support was there long before.

Anyways here are the build settings for my 2019.1.10f1 version. Of course I have quickly added $$anonymous$$ac build support through the Unity Hub.

I don't have a $$anonymous$$ac and the last time I made a build for $$anonymous$$ac was about 9 years ago. I just created a mac build of my test project and it ran through without any issues. However I can not test if the build works since I still have no mac ^^.

The installation screenshot in the OP is from the usual Unity installer and not the Unity Hub. I think you just need to check "$$anonymous$$ac $$anonymous$$ono Scripting Backend". Though I would highly recommend to use the Unity Hub. It manages your different projects and all your different editor versions and installs.
