Ensuring an animation rotates a character exactly
Hey, guys, sorry if the question is a bit basic, I'm getting a tad overwhelmed and would appreciate if someone could advice me on how best to solve this problem.
The situation, in short, is: I have a character that I wish to rotate exactly 180 degrees using an animation contained in a separate state. The problem is that the animation itself is imprecise and leaves the character slightly off the axis.
Is there a way to tweak the animation inside the editor? I understand there's a way to do this by defining a OnAnimatorMove
function and rotating the transform manually, but this seems inefficient given the fact that I might later need to do the same thing for an animation with a different desired rotation value.
What's the best way to go about it?
