How do I change the velocity over lifetime value on a Particle System using a slider?
Hi,
I just started out experimenting with the Particle System and would like to change the Z value of "Velocity over lifetime" using a slider. Unfortunately I am kind of overwhelmed with the Scripting API for the Particle system and wanted to know if anybody has some input on how to assign the slider Value to the Velocity over lifetime value correctly so it changes according to the slider?
Thanks in advance :)
There is 2 things about scripting the particle system:
modify the “emitted (alive) particles”. This is more resource-intensive and involves Get/SetParticles. https://docs.unity3d.com/ScriptReference/ParticleSystem.GetParticles.html
modify the “particle system” which will not affect the already emitted particles. In this case I recommend updating speed$$anonymous$$odifier$$anonymous$$ultiplier with your UI slider
$$anonymous$$ore about scripting particle system:

Thanks, that helped a lot! Got it to work using the $$anonymous$$ultiplier!
